We are seeking a Flight Dynamics Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the development of a new canister-launched aircraft platform. You will contribute to system design from initial concept through flight-envelope testing.
Your role:
Dynamic modelling and analysis
-Aircraft stability, flight modes, inertia
-Maneuverability
Conceptual design
-Aircraft configuration
-Definition of baseline parameters
-Inputs for CFD analysis
-Performance evaluation
Data analysis and interpretation
Testing and validation of new designs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across systems engineering, mechanics, electronics, software, etc.
About You:
Education & Experience
Degree in a relevant technical field (Aerospace Engineering, Applied Physics, Control Systems Engineering, etc.)
Previous engineering experience in dynamic modeling of complex systems or related fields
Skills & Competencies
Core Skills
MATLAB/Simulink
Mathematics and physics
Flight mechanics fundamentals
Numerical methods, optimization, and data analysis
Systems thinking and analytical approach
Clear and precise documentation skills
Nice to Have:
Knowledge about aircraft aerodynamics and stability derivatives
Experience with CFD and flight dynamics modeling
