We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team and help safeguard Threod’s IT environment. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying and addressing security risks, strengthening our security posture, and supporting effective incident response.
Monitor security logs, alerts, and events across servers, endpoints, networks, identity systems, and security tools, investigating suspicious activity and driving incidents to resolution.
Administer and secure Windows and Linux environments, ensuring patching, configurations, and security baselines are maintained.
Manage endpoint and identity security using Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Defender, and related security tools.
Configure and maintain firewalls, network security rules, and access controls, supporting MFA, least privilege, device compliance, and other secure access principles.
Operate and tune Wazuh to improve log collection, monitoring coverage, detection quality, and alerting.
Identify and remediate security weaknesses and misconfigurations based on agreed priorities.
Maintain clear and up-to-date security documentation, including configurations, incidents, and processes.
Continuously improve security monitoring, detection rules, and security baselines, while supporting risk assessment and security priorities.
Strong understanding of security monitoring and incident response, with a structured approach to investigating alerts and identifying real risks.
Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux environments, endpoint security, patching, and security hardening.
Good understanding of network and access security, including firewalls, segmentation, MFA, least privilege, and device compliance.
Hands-on and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and follow them through to resolution.
Proactive approach to improving security tools, monitoring coverage, and detection capabilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with sound judgement on when to act independently and when to escalate.
